Subject: lispRead error
Date: Thu, 24 Mar 1994 21:25:39 CET-0
Message-ID: <96C266D67@kastor.ics.tup.edu.pl> (raw)
I have defined a rule (in v.4.1) :
define rule ne is on append to emp do
replace new (salary=int4ave{emp.salary})
append emp(number=1234,name="Joe",salary=20000)
Query sent to backend is "append emp(number=1234,name="Joe",salary=20000) "
WARN:Mar 24 18:34:11:Bad type (lispRead)
Can anybody advise me what's the problem? Is the aggregate
call responsible for the failure? Is it due to a general ban
on fuctions in rule actions?
Thanks in advance,
Martin
