Hi,

I am monitoring a SUN network, but sometimes when my program goes to make
append this error appear: 
 WARN:Nov 29 11:01:07:*** scanner error: Unterminated char/string constant

Do you know why this happen?

The program make the append of this way:

append Monit_obj(maquina="chui.inf.ufrgs.br",dia="11/28/95",hora="18",ipOutDiscards="0",ipInHdrErrors="0",ipInReceives="7418509",ipOutRequests="0",ipForwDatagrams="2109006",ipReasmReqds="263470",ipReasmFails="26",icmpInSrcQuen="19",icmpInMsgs="1947",icmpOutMsgs="1888",icmpInEchos="157",icmpOutEchoReps="157",tcpAttemptFails="62",tcpInSegs="127231",tcpEstabResets="27",tcpRetransSegs="262",tcpOutSegs="157322",udpInDatagrams="0",udpOutDatagrams="0",udpNoPorts="0")

The definitions:

maquina=text
dia = char16
hora = char16
the others = char16
