Hi,

Is there a FAQ or any good documentation on the best way to build postgres
under Solaris 4.2. I've poked through the mail archives and see lots of
questions but few answers. Here are some questions that I'd like to see
answers to:

1. Are there any patches that need to be applied to the standard distribution.
2. Does the most recent version of gcc work to compile it or does it need to
   be patched.
3. Does the precomiled Solaris 2.3 version at the ftp site work on 2.4?
4. Is there a pre-compiled version out there for 2.4.

Thanks

Steve
