Our program works without any problem on Linux ( kernel 1.0.9 ), but we encountered some when on Sun ( Sun Spark, SunOS 4.3 ). When we use Ingres manually, it seems to be ok. But when we use Equel programs, the queries don't always succeed, though we did apply the patches "ingres.patch.sunos41" and "ingres.patch.sparc" found on the server coli.uni-sb.de. We are looking for someone who could help us, but we don't know who to get in touch with. That's why we allow ourselves to contact you. Thanking you in anticipation for your help, yours sincerely, Claude Fritz and Sandrine Guichon. Universite Louis Pasteur de Strasbourg.
