Subject: Renaming Databases?
Date: Wed, 16 Nov 1994 08:42:29 +0000 (GMT)
Message-ID: <229173B1C41@cclana.ucd.ie> (raw)
Is it possible to rename Postgres databases without destroying and
then recreating them?
We currently use a Postgres database to serve documents via the Web,
and we wish to create a parallel database containing updated data,
which, when completed, will take the place of the original.
Naturally, if we could rename the new database it would facilitate
this process.
Any information gratefully received.
Regards, Ger.
