Subject: postmaster getting confused

Hi, I'm using Postgres 4.2 on a PC running Solarisx86 2.4. I'm
developing an application using tcl. My problem is that every time my
tcl program crashes (which is currently whenever I run it), I have to
kill the postmaster and restart it. (Otherwise I get the "cannot write
block x of ... blind" message.). This is fine, but to restart
Postmaster, I usually have to wait five minutes or I get a "bind()
failed" error. This means I have to wait five minutes between every
test run of my application and it's getting painful! Does anybody have
any advice? Running ipcclean does not seem to help.

	Thanks,
	-Bruce Cota
