For both, the use of commutators seems to cause strange buffer pool leak messages to occur when these are defined. If anyone has had this problem or has found a solution, I'd really love to know anything about what you've found. I've looked through the digests on the WWW site for Postgres and I've seen that others have had this problem but I didn't see any responses posted in the digests. I'll be glad to furnish C code and scripts if necessary.
