  I've defined some new character types for Postgres and Postgres 95. For
  both, the use of commutators seems to cause strange buffer pool leak 
  messages to occur when these are defined.

  If anyone has had this problem or has found a solution, I'd really love to
  know anything about what you've found.

  I've looked through the digests on the WWW site for Postgres and I've seen
  that others have had this problem but I didn't see any responses posted in
  the digests.  I'll be glad to furnish C code and scripts if necessary.
