Hello,

I'm a new Postgres95 user .... and I already have a question :-)

Could someone give me the syntax of the copy instruction ...

I'm trying to load a file in a table ...
copy RELNAME from 'name_of_file';
but .. for table with multiple entries, it doesn't work ....
I get an error about "atoi" ... but it's a varchar entry !!!

Another problem using copy ... is to access my home directory ...
I think it's the backend which writes and reads files ... but how to allow
him to write in my directory whitout allowing everyone to do so ???
(I have the same problem for reading) ....

Thanks in advance ....

Sorry for my bad english :-)
