This doesn't sound very normal. If you could provide the following
information, maybe someone could help you:

1. what platform (machine, OS) are you running?

2. what compiler (eg. gcc) did you build pg95 with?

3. stack trace of core dumps and/or snippet of code/SQL that causes pg95 to
   dump core

ps. and make sure you have sufficient system resources (eg. not running out
  of disk space, etc.)
