glad to hear from you!

not much has been going on in terms of postgres itself.  i don't know
how much you have been following the "postgres95" thing -- a couple of
people here were working on some improvements, and as part of that
work and the mariposa distributed dbms project, postgres was converted
from postquel to sql.  so there has been some work in terms of
robustness and sql support.  there hasn't been too much new
functionality, though..
