translation: "the commercial software that manages the optical disk jukebox 
on which the ftp and http servers on {s2k-ftp,heel}.CS.Berkeley.EDU rely is 
down again.  we regret any inconvenience that this might cause you and will 
let you know when service is restored.  this again appears to be a software 
rather than hardware problem."

(amazing how terse and efficient "aoki encoding" can be, isn't it..?)
