Hi,

in the meanwhile, I have posted a first release of an port
of Postgres 4.2 to Linux to the Linux Postgres mailing list
on niksula.hut.fi.

As from earlier experiences, this site is ridiculously slow.
I did the post 10 hours ago, and haven't gotten the reply
back yet. My request is: Is there someone on this list, who
could create a linux-related Postgres mailing list on a less
busy branch of the net? This is to avoid flooding this group
with patches and bug reports.

Thanks a lot

Kai
