Subject: multiple connections with libpq, possible?

[This is a repost; sorry if you have seen this one before. Some Finnish Anonymous

Hello postgressers,

Is it possible to maintain simultaneous connections to multiple databases with
libpq?
If not, are there any plans to support this in the future?

Thanks in advance,
