I managed to install everything.  But...When I type
   ~postgres/bin/createdb postgres
I get the following error:
FATAL 1:Mar 28 08:12:23:User ashish is not in pg_user
/usr/postgres/bin/createdb: database creation failed on ashish.


Any help will be appreciated.
