i am not a hardware expert and would like to get some help.
as i understand it, postgres 4.0 runs on sparc.

i recently heard about sparc two and ten?
will postgres run on these processorors?
sparc 10 would be announced some time this year or next year.

i plan to buy some computer on which postgres runs.
recently i used a workstation using sprac.
when only two users used the machine, the machine became so
slow that i barely could use it.
my tentative conclusion is that i should buy more powerfule computer
than the one i used.
any recommendations on reasonably fast computer (which could
support say 4-5 users at a time) using sparc chip.

thanks very much in advance.

sincerely,
