Hi,
I think I have got a solution to the problem of having a "standalone" postgres
configuration. I have started postmaster with the -b option in a standalone
workstation and everything else worked fine, as needed.

I want also to use the opportunity to thank really very much to postgres
development group about the good moments you could offer along this
year.
